We all know the key to your loved one's heart is through their stomach, and with these protein pancakes we have a feeling that’s not all they’ll be getting for breakfast this Valentine’s Day!

These delicious pancakes are jam-packed full of protein, fiber and are gluten-free, making them not only delicious, but healthy too!
Serve them as they are, or top them with a layer of our 100% all natural peanut butter for some extra flavor.

Protein Pancakes

VALENTINE'S DAY PROTEIN PANCAKE RECIPE:

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Add egg whites, chopped strawberries, oat bran, buckwheat flour, baking soda, protein powder and salt to a bowl and stir until all ingredients are combined.
  2. Spray a frying pan with coconut oil or other cooking spray. The pancakes will spread out, so using a smaller pan works well. Cook on low, covered, for 5-7 minutes, until bubbles appear on top of pancake. Flip over, and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  3. Top with berries, peanut butter, or a topping of your choice

Notes:

Since these pancakes are made mostly of egg whites, they need to be cooked slowly to not dry out.
